Rabbi Daniel Olgin has been director of the Ohio State University Aish Campus Leaders Program since 2005. Daniel grew up as a marginally affiliated Jew in University Heights, Ohio and attended Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. It was there that a roommate from Tennessee, who had never seen a Jew before, wanted to know if Jews have horns. This prompted Daniel to become more Jewishly involved; he became a Jewish Studies major and served as president of the Jewish Student Activities Board of Hillel. Daniel has attended Yeshiva Ohr Somayach and Yeshiva Bircas HaTorah in Jerusalem, and received rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg. He holds a Masters degree in Judaic Studies and Education and a Teachers Certificate from the Ministry of Education of the State of Israel. Daniel worked for many years with NCSY, and has served as a day school teacher, congregational rabbi, and counselor in anti-missionary activities. He and his wife, Rivky, reside in University Heights and are the proud parents of seven children. Daniel enjoys music, playing with his kids, science fiction, the outdoors and meditation.

He came to Denver in 1984 as an enthusiastic, charismatic, young New York rabbi, when the term “outreach” referred mostly to serving the needs of intermarried couples. Rabbi Meyer quickly became one of the pioneers who put a new spin on Jewish outreach – by serving the needs of Jews. After teaching hundreds of classes and inspiring thousands of metro-area Jews, in 1996, Rabbi Meyer established a unique organization which grew to become Aish Denver – a vibrant center of Jewish learning and discovery that has revolutionized the South East Denver Jewish community. Executive Director

Rabbi Tzvi Nightingale is Director of Aish South Florida. Tzvi grew up in Toronto, Canada, home of the perennially losing Toronto Maple Leafs ice hockey team. He attended Aish Jerusalem in the summer of 1979, determined to gain access to great Jewish works and thinkers such as the Talmud and Maimonides. Little did he know that it would take far longer than two months; he ended up staying in Israel for nine years. He received rabbinic ordination in 1985 and met his wife Karen, who grew up in London and is the great-granddaughter of the former chief rabbi of Meshed, Iran. As can only happen in Israel, Canadian-Polish-Jewish became intertwined with British-Israeli-Persian. Rabbi Nightingale has been involved in Aish South Florida since 1989 and has been Executive Director since 1993. During that time he has met over 20,000 people who have attended Aish programs, but he does not remember all of their names. In the meantime, watching his beloved Maple Leafs not win a championship since 1967 has taught Rabbi Nightingale the importance of patiently waiting for the arrival of Moshiach.
