Elliot Mathias is the director of Hasbara Fellowships, the pro-Israel campus activism organization that trains and supports students at over 100 universities across North America. Elliot graduated from Northwestern University in 1997 with a degree in Communications and received rabbinic ordination from Aish Jerusalem in 2007. Elliot founded Hasbara Fellowships in 2001 in partnership between Aish and the Foreign Ministry of Israel, as a way to provide Jewish students with information, tools, materials and motivation to counteract the wide range of anti-Israel activism prevalent on campus. In addition, since 2006, Elliot has been Director of Aish International’s Campus Division in North America, which provides transformational Jewish programming and brings thousands of Jewish university students each year on educational trips to Israel and other locations. Elliot lives with his wife and children in New Jersey.

Natalie Menaged has served as the Managing Director of Hasbara Fellowships since 2006, overseeing the campus staff and programming, designing and producing materials and campaigns, and organizing the activism training programs in Israel. Natalie also frequently represents Hasbara nationally, holding advisory and committee positions with organizations including the Israel on Campus Coalition, Hillel, and Aish on Campus. Natalie was a participant on the very first Hasbara Fellowships, and was the founder and president of Gators for Israel at the University of Florida. Natalie and her husband, Eli, live in Brooklyn where they are active in Jewish education and outreach.

Lauren Krol is the Hasbara Fellowships Campus Coordinator for the New England and Mid-Atlantic region. Lauren attended Drexel University before transferring to University of Maryland, College Park, where she studied art studio. She was active in the Terrapin Israel Public Affairs Committee (TerPAC), serving as president and secretary.

Alan Levine is the Hasbara Fellowships West Coast Campus Coordinator. Alan grew up in San Diego and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received a BA in Political Science with emphasis on international relations. While at UCSB, Alan was president of American Students for Israel, and held leadership positions in AEPi and AIPAC. Alan was also a research assistant at the Institute for Counter-Terrorism in Israel and the Jewish Policy Center in Washington DC, where his research focused on the activities of Hezbollah and Iran in Latin America. Alan's writing has been featured in prominent publications.

Abram Shanedling grew up in Minneapolis and attended Univ. of Wisconsin-Madison, where he received a BA in Political Science, Journalism and Middle Eastern Studies. Abram has worked at a major Minneapolis public relations firm, conducted media affairs for several Wisconsin political advocacy organizations, and worked for the UW-Madison Department of Political Science. He has also served as president of the Madison-Israel Public Affairs Committee (MadPAC).

Chanan Kaufman has served as Executive Director of the Jerusalem Fellowships since 1991. He holds a degree from the University of Maryland and received rabbinic ordination from Aish HaTorah in Jerusalem. He has been involved in Jewish and Israel outreach and leadership development for nearly three decades, having founded Aish New York in 1986. He founded the GoInspire Israel Travel company in 2009, and started the Israel Hitech Missions in 2010. He lives with his family in Monsey, New York.

Rabbi Nachum Braverman studied philosophy at Yale University. For many years he served as Educational Director of Aish HaTorah Los Angeles, and is now the Executive Director of Academic Exchange. He is the author of The Bible for the Clueless but Curious, and Death of Cupid - Reclaiming the Wisdom of Love and Marriage. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and children.

Rabbi Jon Neumann grew up in Melbourne, Australia and studied Commerce at Melbourne University while concurrently working in Management Consulting in Australia and the USA. After six years of corporate life, Jon moved to Israel, and spent six years learning at Aish HaTorah Jerusalem. Jon also spent two years working with Aish International in Jerusalem and internationally to improve and expand Aish's outreach efforts. In 2006, Jon moved back to Melbourne joining Aish Australia to help teach and share the wisdom of Torah with the local community. Jon is married to Rivka and they have four children who ensure their parents don't have too much free time on their hands.

Rabbi Nechemia Coopersmith, originally from Toronto, lives in Jerusalem with his wife and children. He is the chief editor of Aish.com, and also oversees the many educational outreach programs at Aish HaTorah in Jerusalem. He is the author of Shmooze: A Guide to Thought-Provoking Discussion on Essential Jewish Issues – a must-have little book for anyone who loves a good question.

Rabbi Daniel Mechanic is the Director of Project Chazon, an organization he founded in 1996 to present seminars on Jewish philosophy to day school students. To date, 2,500 seminars have been parented to over 180,000 students in 340 schools. Rabbi Mechanic is also a world-renowned lecturer on topics relating to Jewish outreach, and is recognized as an authority in dealing with "at-risk teens.” He presents numerous workshops to parents and educators, and has been invited to speak at many major conventions and scholar-in-residence programs. Rabbi Mechanic joined Aish HaTorah in 1981, and spent 15 years as a lecturer and co-director of the Discovery Seminar. He received rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Avraham Pam zt”l at Yeshiva Torah Vodaas. Rabbi Mechanic resides in Brooklyn with his wife and five children.

Rabbi Yerachmiel Milstein is the Executive Vice President of Project Chazon, which presents hashkafa workshops to reduce at-risk behavior in more than 300 high schools across North America and the UK, and counsels hundreds of pre- and in-crisis teens. In addition, Rabbi Milstein is an exciting, accomplished and much sought-after speaker who recently hosted the acclaimed "Mishpacha On Air" weekly radio program in New York City. As a Senior Lecturer for Aish HaTorah's Discovery Seminars for the better part of two decades, he has appeared before tens of thousands throughout North America, Israel, Europe, South Africa, as well as at England's prestigious Cambridge University. A student of Yeshivas Mir Jerusalem and ordained at Mesivta Tifereth Jerusalem in New York City, Rabbi Milstein delivers popular weekly Torah lectures in New York City attended by hundreds of regular devotees. He also appears frequently throughout the U.S. and Canada as a motivational speaker for Project Inspire, and has authored numerous articles on chinuch and other topics in the popular Jewish print and Internet media.

Rabbi Salomon is co-author, with Rabbi Noah Weinberg, of the best selling book "What the Angel Taught You: Seven Keys to Life Fulfillment" (Mesorah), and is co-producer of the highly-acclaimed film, Inspired. He also author of Something to Think About and Salomon Says (Mesorah), based largely on his essays for Aish.com. Chaim Sampson is Director of Project Inspire. Chaim was born and bred in London, England, and still speaks the Queen’s English even after several years in the States. Chaim spent 10 years in the magical Old City of Jerusalem, where he received rabbinic ordination, as well as running the introductory and intermediate programs at Aish Jerusalem. He also had the good fortune to study under the tutelage of Rabbi Yaakov Weinberg zt”l at Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore. Chaim returned to the UK and spent 7 years as the educational director of Aish London. Chaim now lives in Passaic, NJ with his wife Yocheved, a practicing psychotherapist and loving mother of their son Shmuel.

Rabbi Simcha Barnett attended Dartmouth College (where he played intercollegiate tennis), worked as an investment banker, and received rabbinical ordination in Jerusalem. Rabbi Barnett is currently the Director of Aish in Livingston, New Jersey, and is searching for (just) the right tennis partner (who can compete with him!)

Born and bred in Toronto, Rabbi Moshe Zionce at an early age always felt the deep desire to help bring Jews closer to their rich heritage. Moshe graduated from Ner Israel Yeshiva of Toronto in 1990 and went on to further his education in Judaic studies in New York. It is there that he was introduced to his wife, Penina. They settled in Toronto. Six kids and 25 pounds later, Rabbi Zionce runs an outreach organization called the Chai Cafe. "Life is a constant balancing act between family, making ends meet, spirituality and eating my wife's home-made Challah."

Rabbi Moshe teaches at The Chai Cafe and Aish HaTorah Toronto. He organizes Shabbatons, events and Shabbat services. Rachelle Myers grew up in Flint, Michigan. She received undergraduate degrees from Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary, and a Masters in Jewish Education from JTS. She spent many summers and semesters in Israel on various educational programs. She has been involved in Jewish education both as a teacher and as director of afternoon religious schools. She enjoys using her educational background to inspire people to experience the joy and beauty of our Jewish heritage.
