Rabbi Andrew Saffer attended Mount Scopus College, and then studied Law and Information Technology at Monash University, anticipating a career in internet law at the same commercial law firm as his many cousins. A six-week Jerusalem Fellowship trip to Israel changed that. Andrew stayed on after the program ended, and after 6 years of full-time study at Aish HaTorah Jerusalem (while moonlighting as a graphic designer and events photographer), Andrew was ordained as a rabbi. He met his wife, Rachelle (also from Melbourne) in Jerusalem the very next day. They married and moved back to Australia, and now have four adorable children. Andrew spends his spare time listening to the same music your parents did.
