Jane Farkas was born in Siberia, then moved to Israel, finally settling in Canada. Jane lived a secular life, and one day her mother told her she wasn’t really Jewish. At age 18, Jane went on a Birthright trip to Israel and fell in love with Judaism. Jane rather accidentally found Aish HaTorah, which provided her with books to study and set her on course to conversion. Since 2007, Jane and her husband Erez have been leading trips to Israel and working with Aish Campus in Toronto, where they run the "Maimonides" program, teach classes, and host Shabbat meals.
