YAAKOV SALOMON'S NEW BOOK, SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

Some people are funny. Some are insightful. Some are cynical. Some find a humorous touch in everything. Others find irony. Some write beautifully. Few people do them all as well as Rabbi Yaakov Salomon does. Entertaining, inspiring, astute, he has the uncommon ability to look something to give us pause and make us think. His new book, Something to Think About , gives us just that -- with a healthy dose of wit and charm. Click here to order.

Oil crisis solution 100%

The Most important address for Hydrogen technology:billings@billingsenergy.com
If you want to produce the cells with hydroelectric turbines from evaporated waters at the Dead sea it will work with or without Jordan doing it on their side. I believe you will take this hint seriously, Mordecai Spiro

addicted?

I think that it it too much to say that we are addicted to oil. do you have to drive to work? My husband went on night shift, there is no other transpot to get there. What should we do, for we have to drive. And what about shopping? and list goes on. I think that the trick is to not to make us feel guilty, but try to develop other ways to make our cars move. And not everyone can get oil from McDonalds (it is expencive to change and if you noticed the oil is not sold freely, so what can I do?)
something to think about...

Perhaps there is to be an all out catastrophe. No Oil from the midle east and until the economy gears up to home grown production - real hardship

Question authority!

I don't believe that Americans are so much addicted to oil as they are numb to important issues of life and of the world. We are not a people familiar with questioning anything or anybody! When we are told to go to war we go with relish never questioning the authorties that send us. If our companies make big cars we buy them. We don't ask about gas milage because our vehicles need gas so we get it. Most people don't even know that we get most of our gas from South America! Why not, it is a commodity that we use daily. Americans are not aware that Alaskan oil will not relief our oil crisis, but will ruin that pristine land. American will find it's way out of this mess only when we start using our own heads instead of relying on our oil government or anyone but ourselves.

alcohol made from sugar cane replaces gas in Brazil

please foward to Rabbi Salomon that in Beazil they've used an alternative to oil successfully for the past 15years. it's alcohol made from the residual production of sugar cane. In the USaA it could be produced from orange juice peel, prairie grass ect. American car manufacturers in Brazil produce cars with Flex tanks so the owner can chooseto use gas or the alcohol. and cars can be refitted for this as well. It costs less/gallon, recycles waste & better for the environment. I saw tjis today on WMSNBC news brief online on the verizon home page.
