Very insightful message

After watching this video, I know I married the "right man" with G-d's help. I got married at an older age(almost 31) and went out with real jerks, I am sorry to say. I hope that young ladies really take this to heart. Keep up with the great lessons,Lori.

So dangerous

I strongly disagree with this video, and other things like this where people are trying to give advice on how to know if he/she is the "right" one. Why? Because it seems like they're almost always assuming that people should be looking for a perfect person with perfect midot.

But you forget that you're talking to someone who themselves is not perfect! For example, I myself get angry at things, not always the right things. I don't always spend my money on the most rightious things. But I should be looking for someone who only gets angry for the right reasons?

I think that those three things are good ways to find out about a person's personality but not only the person you're considering marrying, your own too! We must be honest about who we ourselves are and not expect to end up with someone in a totally different place than us.

So True ! Also about Women.

You are soooo right, Lori. Men certainly do show themselves in those ways you mentioned. Younger and older alike. I've been dating recently. There are good, fun, nice men out there. HOWEVER.....

It's also a jungle out there. I didn't know!

I don't date drinkers, so had to find another way to see a mans' true character.
You can tell a 'nice guy' in the first 15 minutes of shooting a game of pool with him.

It doesn't take long to see how a man spends his money either.
The self-indulgent man shows up his selfish habits really fast.

I agree with the above posters. How do we determine character in women?

That's genius! And for men, the same rules for women could be this: watch very carefully next time you bring her shopping. What does she buy? How does she goes about doing this? Where does she do her shopping? It'll tell you everything you need to know! :)
