life enhancing choices
How could anyone argue with this advice? I would say also that there are many choices that we all have to make not just for ourselves. With respect to this, a life enhancing choice would always be to respond to another in a positive manner, and not to diminish that person. I just witnessed the birth of my grandson. It was a home birth and totally beautiful. Now this was a life-enhancing experience for me and yet, when I told a friend about this, she didn't stop to listen to the magic, the miracle of all of this, before launching into, How could THEY do this? All the blood. All the gore... etc etc. So I was truly offended because she stopped me from continuing with the magic and it seemed this was so totally not life enhancing. So yes, we should all think about this very important issue in addressing not only ourselves and our needs but others.
