I read a variety

I like to read a variety of news sources, because I feel like if I read a little of every slant, somewhere in the middle of it all lies a touch of truth. My list includes NYT, WSJ, NPR, Al-Jazeera, CNN, BBC, Haaretz, Jerusalem Post, FOX, USA Today, AISH, and Reuters. I supplement these with other random papers from around the world.

The EVIL New York Times, Cont'd

The fact that so many commenters admit to and boast about reading the New York Times, published by a self-hating family which has been hostile to its own people for at least three generations, goes to a showing of the danger we are in. The further comments by those Times readers who abjur pro-Jewish and pro-Israel sources such as FOX News is truly alarming

Whose News? Not the TV. Not the newspapers.

, December 14, 2008 Whose News? Not For Me, Thanks! This is my comment from Lori Almost Live last year. The video was about following the news.

Many people are probably much brighter and more discerning than I am about finding the truth in Newscasting. But for me...News on TV...nope, I don't follow it. News in the daily newspaper...nope I don't follow the national or international stories, just the local news, classifieds and about town.

I do view the International News on the internet...if it is something that is of interest to me. I compare 3 sources from other countries about the same story and decide what the true story might be.

My opinion of the News on television is that it's an entertainment program brought to us by powerful advertisers. It is a disgrace. News in the newspapers is reading material brought to us by the approval of the advertisers. The celebrity gossip and the entertainment industry, sports and political views of the different forms of media are much too complicated for me to sort out, I don't follow their programming. I'm not immune to either the subtle marketing of ideals or the blatent marketing of ideals. EVERYONE has an agenda.
