Lost camera in Masada

We have just returned from Israel and it was a wonderful trip except on the last day, we lost our Camera at Masada with all the Holy Land pictures. We have it all stored in our hearts, but are sad that our pictures are lost.

He hears our plea.

My son was born a week ago. Baruch HaShem he is well. Just a little bit of Jaundice. We prayed. Guess What? The doctor said that the jaundice went down. Now we can call Rabbi for the Bris. HaShem hears the cry of His people.

I must go...

I thought my desire to go to Israel was strong... That was before I watched this video! Now I can feel the desire in every bit of my heart and mind! I hunger for just that kind of thing which Lori described.

Another Story

I just got word that the daughter-in-law of Yonasan Rosenblum, the well-known journalist who lives in Yerushalayim,, just gave birth to a baby boy, her first after more than six years of marriage. Here is Yonasan in his own words: During this time, we had many, many occasions to reflect on "Mi Kamocha, Yisrael." Women in Johannesburg, London, and Jerusalem all participated in taking challah on Elisheva and Micha's behalf. A few months back, I met the husband of a woman in Har Nof, who after meeting Elisheva at a Kiddush, arranged a group to take challah. I told him that his wife's challah had worked. He jumped up and down, kissed me, and started crying. Shortly before that his car had been stolen, with his tefillin and all his work tools inside. But, he told me, none of that now mattered. That ability to truly share in others simchos is something I do not imagine can be found in too many places.

You certainly are right. I think that is why when the plane lands in Israel I always know that I have come home.
