Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Israel G-D of Israel Bless you and its people with their leaders and Bibi our prime minister with joy ,happiness ,peace and table with with good food .Amen

(39) Debbie, April 26, 2010 3:05 AM

Did you know that PM Bibi's son won the chidon hatanach?

Did you know that PM Bibi's son won the chidon hatanach? I think his son should show him all the places in Tanach where Hashem promises our Patriarchs to give the Land of Israel to their children. And to show him the myriad sections that talk about the kedusha of the land, and the history of each place. He should KNOW then that we're not allowed to give ANY PIECE of the land back!!

(38) Stewart, April 25, 2010 9:13 PM

Love your neighbor as yourself.

I would tell him to address the Palestinian/Israeli issue as if both peoples were his people. A solution that has benefits for both sides will succeed but one that benefits only one side will not. The Palestinaians have to live and thrive somewhere. Otherwise no one wins.

(37) Anonymous, April 25, 2010 7:55 PM

I would tell Bibi to stay strong and resolute, and to do more to encourage and help Aliyah from America in particular, and mobilize Israeli society to receive and welcome and assist American olim more than in the past. We Jews have a long history of reaching out to others, and getting rejection in return more often than not. We must reach out TO EACH OTHER as well as the few Christian and other friends we still have left, and stand strong and resolute. Iran is emerging as the Germany of the Middle East, and as in the 1930s, the world will wake up when it is late and do too little. Not only Israel but the oil fields that fuel the West are under their feet, and those feet are at the precipice of acquiring nuclear armed ICBMs that will be able to reach even American cities. Both Israel and the world are in PERIL and all energies must be unleashed to wake the world up, and stop scapegoating the Jews as in the past. Israel will not be the Czechoslovakia of the modern era.

(36) Anonymous, April 25, 2010 7:54 PM

he first thing I would say is "Thank you Mr. President for your work, for your heart for Israel and Jerusalem and people of Israel. Thank you for being there. Thank you for standing for Israel. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!" Yes, and also DO NOT FEAR!! God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob is with Israel and with you Mr. President."

(35) Anonymous, April 25, 2010 7:52 PM

Dear PM, It gives me great honour to speak to a person who is selected by the Jewish nation and Hashem to lead the people into the future. The path ahead is not easy and there are many pitfalls and obstacles, but trust only in Hashem and refer to our Torah and holy books for advice and counsel to steer the nation. The Jews in and outside Israel look up to you as an ideal so do not disappoint them. Peace is of prime importance but not at the cost of our security and our land. we have given the caves of our Patriachs, do not make the error of giving Jerusalem under pressure. it is our eternal capital. make attempts to bring all the different jewish sects and cultures to work towards a common goal for the betterment of our nation. spend more of ur budget on education and upbringing of our youth. let not the foreign influences affect them. may hashem give u wisdom to guide the nation.

(34) Anonymous, April 25, 2010 7:51 PM

PM Netanyahu, Firstly let me conratulate you for appearing to stand up to US pressure on Jerusalem. May I add my opinion regarding what to stress on Jerusalem publcly...Druing the 1960's in the American South there were Jim Crow laws that discriminated openly against Black people. Express that Jerusalem and other Jewish holy sites under Arab control have a record of being worse than the Jim Crow days - for in Arab lands selling land to a Jew can be punishabl;e by death. Jerusalem under Israel is a Free Open Western valued Jerusalem, under Arab control it would be Jim Crow (for Jews) all over again

(33) Rev.Borris Jovanovich, April 24, 2010 10:40 AM

Dear Prime minister Bibi

Have prayed for you to be our Prime Minister of our people again because of your International experience and G-D knows indeed well what is in your heart.Yes, the love for His people is in your heart .Even if we live outside of borders of Israel, the land and its heritage is in our heart. So let us all loudly praise Living G-D ,our Heavenly Father and thank Him to be "The One who IS" .Also you are guided by Living G-D,the Heavenly Father and Creator of all living thinks.Wanted to shake your hand as a Jew to Jew and say lot more than I have said ,in one word I thank you and I will indeed remember you in my prayers for your today, and our new tomorrow as a nation. G-D bless you Bibi. Rev.Borris Jovanovich

(32) Aaron, April 23, 2010 9:31 AM

I can't think of anything better than what you said...Thats awesome!

I pray that bibi would take you up on your offer.

(31) Robert, April 22, 2010 10:12 PM

What more could aNon-Jew wish to say ecept Shalom This does not imly a greeting but the true meaning of Shalomo What does that mean nothing missing mothing broken May Hashem bring this to pass and his will is the Peace of Jerusalem Therfore take courage If hashen is for you who can be agisnt you SHALOM

(30) moshe, April 22, 2010 2:46 PM

i'd say that you should take up Rabbi Solaman's offer and learn with him!

(29) Ben K, April 22, 2010 1:33 PM

Compare a Palestinian Jerusalem to Jim Crow South

I would say congratulations for standing up to Obama pressure so far on Jerusalem. And to emphasize publicly only under Israel is Jerusalem free to all races and religouns while under Arab and Palestinian control areas have a record of being like the Jim Crow South was for Black Americans, when it comes to Jews or Israeli citizens of all stripes. Jim Crow is Wrong whether the target is Black Americans or Jews. Under Arab law anyone selling land to Jews can be executed. And Jewish holy sites have a history of being vandalized under Arab control (Josephs TOmb in Nablus, synogogues and Mount of Olives in Jerusalem)

(28) Debora, April 22, 2010 11:06 AM

Good time

I'd say to Bibi; "Let me take some pics of you and me, so I can show them off lately!" He'd smile to that as if it is good ice breaker, then I'd tell him to go back to biblical roots and follow the wisdom from above. Only G-d sustains Israel and He is its shield.

(27) ruth, April 21, 2010 11:19 AM

in all things remember

We are part of a delicate WEB of humanity that includes all living and non living things and that in order to find our way, we each need to find our roots and that process is taking us in complex ways towards a shared destiny, namely peaceful coexistence, despite the pain, that burden of sadness, and conflict in this world, this steady, unremitting rain of sadness and even, the errors of terror. This must involve total equality and respect on both sides How will this happen? There was a promise that involved Israel, but this promise had to involve also those who were here and who also have deep and lasting issues concerning land and living. In order for peace to work, it must include those who are suffering, in refugee camps and it just might need to include other countries who have been so far intransigent. We are all of us plants that need watering. In English a Bib is what catches whatever falls from one's plate. We have been caught in the same vise, the same almost imponderable human dilemmas, even today, and so to think out of the box, perhaps, is the only way to resolve a story that must be somehow, resolved with love. For humanity, this is a story about roots and the routes we take towards that reach, a reach that has so far exceeded our grasp, but there is a solution that will work for us all. I know it. Deep inside me, there is a spark telling me, it will and must happen. After long days in the desert, we found our way. The desert always blooms when given enough water. I know we have never been, deserted, meaning none of us.

(26) Anonymous, April 21, 2010 7:03 AM

Bomb Iran before they bomb you.

(25) Anonymous, April 21, 2010 7:01 AM

Dear Mr. Netanyahu My courageous 23 year old daughter has just made aliyah. She fell in love with her homeland on Birthright, and returned several times to be sure of her decision to move there, all by herself. It is a great comfort knowing that you are the Prime Minister of Israel, because I have every confidence that you, guided by G-d, will keep the country strong and my child safe. Thank you from Canada.

(24) anon, April 21, 2010 6:59 AM

1. Get a constitution to create a framework within which Israeli leaders must function.. 2. Let the people vote for the candidate and not a party thereby making each elected official e responsible for their own political behavior. 3. Announce to Israel that espionage and treason are capital offenses. Describe what constitutes espionage and treason. Announce (from the Torah) what the penalties will be for treason and espionage. 4. Stand tall and bow to no other nation

(23) S. Inglima, April 21, 2010 2:55 AM

Never forget why there IS an Israel

Mr. Netanyahu, It would be my honor to meet you and share 15 minutes of your time. I would want to know your thoughts on many things, but I would also encourage you to be what many of the Jews in the US had hoped you would be...which is a strong advocate for the true reason that there is an Israel. There is no other place in the world that is the true home for Jews. The lands that were originally described by both the Old Testament and the UN division in 1948 includes ALL of Israel, which includes all of Jerusalem, Sumeria, and Judea. Do not fear the endless pressure of those who seek a war of attrition...those who have learned that they might wear Israel down so the Jews would sacrifice more land for the lie of peace. Educate, yes...educate your people as to who Yassir Arafat really was; where he was born, educated and what his mission truly was. Educate the world as to the lie that is the "Palestinians", and make it clear to the world that Israel will not repeat a lie just because others say it. The "Palestinans" were Jews in 1947! The others are simply Arabs living in Israel. There is currently no such thing as a Palestinian. Repeat that...over, and over...till the Jews in Israel realize it, till the Jews in the US understand it, till the anti-Semites in Europe realize you mean it, and till the rest of the world gets it. Only then will this sham of an excuse to attack Israel be seen as what it really is....Jealousy of the righteousness that is Israel. Jealousy of the success of Israel. Jealously of the relationship that the Jews have had with G-d. Never let anyone forget why there is an Israel.

(22) Samson, April 21, 2010 12:28 AM

I would thanks him and remind him

That Obama and Clinton won't be there much longer and he should just ignore those two frauds. Also that the "West Bank" is part of Israel and so is Gaza so instead of letting the fake "palestinians" aka arabs take parts of ISRAEL let them know they can live in the country of ISRAEL as long as they go by the rules. If they have a problem living in ISRAEL then they can ask many of those Arab countries to let them "return" to an Arab country. There has to be ONE country that can keep Arabs from taking over. Don't hand over a grain of sand and defend ISRAEL no matter who tries to take away a grain of sand. Baruch atah Netanyahu

(21) Donald Ellis, April 20, 2010 10:32 PM

Hold fast; Never give up Jerusalem!

As an American who was in WWII, I implore you to stand fast against the pressure to compromise with the Arab terrorists. Never, no never, no never give up Jerusalem as the God ordained capital of Israel.

(20) Anonymous, April 20, 2010 10:13 PM

Actually happened

My brother and sister-in-law had breakfast with Mr. Netanyahu several years ago. He was sitting alone and eating breakfast in a hotel in America, and my brother who was staying at the same hotel noticed it and offered to join him. Mr. Netanyahu accepted.

(19) Arthur, April 20, 2010 6:23 PM

Agree with Rav Salomon. Rabbi and Education are vital in life. Always keep in mind that Hashem gave this land to us and not anyone else. He wants us to have this land, but how badly do we want this land? How badly do you want to keep Jerusalem ? You doing a great job, thank you for everything and May Hashem give you all the strength that you need to keep our land safe.

(18) Andrew Katz, April 20, 2010 6:19 PM

Israel needs a constitution.

I would tell him to push Israel to make a constitution like the USA. The basis of the constitution would be to define what it means to be a Jewish state. I would promote programs to settle the Negev. The land of Israel is the important thing, not the cities.

(17) Dov, April 20, 2010 6:16 PM

free pollard

As of last week the prime minister of France handed a letter to Mr Obama The letter according to the press asked for clemency for Mr Polanski, whoo 32 years a go molested an underaged girl. The story is well known so I shall leave at that. The question of course mr Bibi do you have the cloud at the moment to influence the USA government to bring home Jonathan. I know you allmost made the freedom reality under Clinton. Can we expect that it can be done this time, As for me I am an Israeli citenzen living in the USA. I intend to return very soon and retire. In my days I volunteered for the air force stayed in Israel, and yes I am a survivor from Amsterdam I wiah you and Family all the best and Israel happy birthday I miss/love you Dov

(16) Yisroel Pollack, April 20, 2010 5:10 PM

A Radical Departure

I would desist from lecturing him so much and try to get him to open up to me and reveal to me the inner machinations of his heart. I would try to learn from, and not just teach, him. I wouldn’t prejudge the question of which one of us is smarter and knows more. I’d try to keep an open mind. I’d try to convey the sense that we share an awful lot in common and how good it would be if we could draw closer to one another….and to all the Jews.

(15) Anonymous, April 20, 2010 4:49 PM

Don't worry about American government policy.

Don't worry about American government policy. It's an artifact of the moment. If the government won't supply the troops, America's people will. Just supply the beer and pizza. We'll bring the rest.

(14) Leah, April 20, 2010 4:44 PM

Be strong Bibi

Call upon the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to lead Israel into her destiny that His promises be fulfilled. Rally Israel into a united strong people who will turn their faces to HaShem and stand against the Obama's of this world, never wavering, never conceding but holding fast to G-d's promises. Trust always in the Almighty and He will deliver your enemies into your hands and make you a great nation.

(13) Francesca, April 20, 2010 4:40 PM

The land of Israel belongs to the God of Israel, not the Arabs....

Dear Mr. Prime Minister of Israel, For many years I have admired all that you do for the Jewish State of Israel, I beg you to continue to be strong, full of the boldness of the Lord, stay the course, do not be swayed in anyway, by anyone. Israel belongs to the Jewish people, not the Arabs, period! There is no room for negotiation, they want the destruction of Israel, not peace. Stand firm, do not allow the US or any other country to bully you. Israel is a Sovereign Country, she has every right to defend herself against the attacks of all enemies, no matter what form they may come as, friend of foe. I wish you from the book of Numbers 6:24-26 He that loves Israel neither sleeps or slumbers. To God be all the glory, for ever!.... Be still and know that He is God! God bless the Jewish State of Israel, her leaders, armed forces and all her people.

(12) Anonymous, April 20, 2010 4:35 PM

A Father's Love

Mr. Prime Minister I finally realized why I admire you in your struggle to lead your nation out of harm's path. It is because when you speak to your people, when you address others about your nation what shines through you is A Father's Love. It is in every word you speak, it shows in your eyes and I know it is in your heart. So do not fear for a father's love is available to you and what son does not go before his father for advice and comfort. Be blessed Bibi

(11) Anonymous, April 20, 2010 4:00 PM

Mr. Prime Minister

Mr. Prime Minister, I wouldn't want your JOB. I have a tough enough time in the one I have. I would say, "You got to fight sometimes to keep the peace." "Do you ever feel alone at the Top?" There is someone higher--Our Heavenly Father, He is where ever you go--He is a prayer away. He knows what it's like to be the CEO of the world. Your promotion to P.M. came from the Lord--He knew what he was doing! Our trust is in the Lord!

(10) dwight Mann, April 20, 2010 2:32 PM

Peace through strength

Peace through strength is a necessity. Talk softly yet yield the big weapon, that being the truth. . .

(9) TMay, April 19, 2010 3:34 PM

National Day of Humiliation by David Stokes at Townhall columnists website 4/ 19/2010 website

I recommend everyone including Bibi reading this column about how Lincoln got the US nation to pray and how FDR asked the US nation to pray. Excellent article. I think it would be a very good idea for Israel and possibly for more than 1 day given Israel's growing situation with Iran, and the scud missiles in Lebanon and the present lack of meaningful leadership in the US, and given that Queen Esther asked the Jews to pray for three days.

(8) Rosen, April 19, 2010 2:30 AM

a more perfect Israel

I would tell the Israeli PM to emulate what the US originally intended to do at home and that is to pray and strive for a more perfect Israel, like how the US Constitution states, "to strive for a more perfect union" (even though we as humans are in no ways perfect, but can still strive for a more perfect state).

(7) ana, April 18, 2010 11:40 PM

I would say

I would say "Thank you," for all his hard work on our behalf.

(6) Michal, April 18, 2010 11:14 PM

It is not important what goim think about you

Dear Mr. Prime Minister, please don't be afraid about what others think about you. For me it seems a little as if you want to be the darling of everybody. Mr. Obama as well as your own people in Israel, not to talk about the antisemites in the whole world. Only what Hashem thinks about you is important. He and your people of Israel made you Prime Minister. Do, what you tell. Don't give Jerusalem away. Build where our people need houses. Don't listen to Hillary Clinton. She even does not respect you in the way she should. And don't allow the leftists to behave as they do. I can not understand the reason, why they stand on the side of our enemies. They should be stopped by all means. To me they make the impression of stubborn, stupid children. My husband s"l was in the 6-day war. Don't give easily away what our soldiers died for. I would wish you too a good Rav at your side. That would be very helpful. Altogether you are a very charming man. But please be not weak, when it comes to our Arab neighbors. They will never change. They are not thankful, when their enemy does everything to please them. They can't differentiate between friendliness and weakness. When you are strong and firm in what you decide, then they revere you. (But only inside. Outside they always use big words.)... Yes, I would love to drink a cup of tea with you. Thanks, that you allowed me to talk with you.

(5) , April 18, 2010 6:17 PM

Israel is responsible to the peoples

Mr. Netanyahu, you are not Prime Minister of a regular state. Eretz Israel is a special place not for the Jews only. You make history, willing or not willing to. Be brave and bold, and dont bow to any world leader!

(4) Anonymous, April 18, 2010 1:59 PM

Don't make a compact with other nations to send us back to Israel

Don't ever force the exiled Jews to return. Let those who want to return, to be able to return, no matter of status. Some just aren't ready to leave where that are comfortable with the culture they live in because that is all they have ever known. Israel is our Homeland, but a land that the exiled Jews do not know the culture, the language, or the customs. Let it always be those that make Aliyah, it's by free will, not forced to.

(3) TMay, April 18, 2010 1:59 PM

What I would say to Bibi and to the rabbi.

I would tell him to read Caroline Glick every week and to consider taking her recommendations; I would tell him to keep coming from Israeli self respect; I would tell him to make it a military priority for Israel now to develop Israeli anti missile technology; Delay, delay, delay with President Obama because he will get weaker as time passes, because Americans are starting to find out who he is; tell him that he has more substance and moxy in his left pinkie than President Obama has in his whole body, and that Bibi is seen as a real mensch; A rabbi told me it is darkest before the light. I disagree with Rabbi Salomon on education because having a belief in "education" without looking at the content of the education is what got Israel in the position it is today with Leftists acting like traitors to the country and feeding the anti-Semitism machine all over the world. The education the children need is a pro Israel one that describes the history of the Jews, the history of Israel and describes the miracle of it, and the reasons it exists and its mission.

(2) Tzipporah, April 18, 2010 12:24 PM

Do not fear man

I would want to advise him not to be afraid of the nations of the world and what they say about Israel or what they may threaten, because the God of Israel is the master of the universe. I would remind him of how Israel used to be feared, when we stood up for ourselves, we were a force to be reckoned with. I would tell him that the Land of Israel is Hashem's and is not something that any president of Israel legitimately has the right to give away. I would emphasize the need to bring the country together in unity, all factions of Judaism, the haredim with modern orthodox and the need to send out the urgent call for more Jews to make aliyah, for there to be a plan that would make it possible for any Jew and every Jew who wants to, who wants to be a part, to come to the Land as we are commanded to settle the land. He could be Hashem's instrument in bringing His people back. Who knows? That would be up to him if he wants to be Hashem's tool, what a great opportunity!

(1) Alan S., April 18, 2010 9:50 AM

Rabbi, you spoke eloquently, smart, and right to the point in this video. Your 15 minutes with the Prime Minister would be so comprehensive, it would probably turn the session in to an hour!
