This is absolutely brilliant. Lori, you know how to touch on topics that are so relevant. I want you to know that I forward your topics to my family and others just about every week. Thank you so much!!

One day not to far away

Your words ring true. I feel an intense force pulling me there - it is the almighty. I have felt it for many years - even before I truly realized why I was supposed to go, and why I belong there. It seems like that which I am enduring was always meant to be the catalyst to get me going. I work my mind day and night to do what needs to be done here before I make the eventual move to Israel.

Hi Lori, I too watch your videos weekly. I have stopped swearing since I heard you say that we have a finitre number of words allowed to us. I thought, " How cute " but it made a profound impact on me. I sing in a choir at a Chabad shule in Melbourne and regularly lead the mincha service in shule. Kol Tov, David, Chiropractor, age 76.

ok i'll try it!

I have had both positive and negative experiences sharing Jewish tradition and insights with my family and friends. I am baalet teshuva and the first time I made Shabbos dinner for my family, they were floored, everyone loved the food and really enjoyed making kiddish and lighting candles. On the other hand after the meal, they were not so thrilled about not turning on the t.v. I think we have to use our better judgement about when to share what we are learning with non-frum people, and always know when to back off. As observant Jews we must always be extra careful with everything we do to make sure we always act in ways that sanctify Hashem. Lori you have inspired me to give it another shot with a couple of people though! A couple bad experiences of reaching out to people has put me in a funk where I have stopped trying so much. Thanks to you're video, it gave me renewed zeal for sharing my learning!

Have been returning home to my faith for awhile now and it is a blessing.

It is so important that people of my generation (products of the 60's) begin to realize how important it is for us to return home to our Jewish faith. I love your video I think it said it all. Thank you for sharing this with us. I have already forward the Aish.com web site to numerous friends and will continue doing so.
