Thank you Lori. There are two things in my life that are taking a long time to happen. One is marriage and the other is a health issue. As the months and years are going by, slowly I am realizing that HaShem is controlling every aspect of my life. Today, I was feeling a little helpless. After listening, once again I am asking Hashem to help me.

I agree with Matitiyahu (#5 comment) . I pray that everyone be clear about their actions and the thoughts behind their actions.~~~~~~~~ 'Everything is possible'. <- I know that, and am completely sure of that, but don't know why I know it Thank you Lori.

Invite G-d In

I pray for the impossible. I pray that all Jews who light their chanakiot this year would really understand the miracle. No, not the miracle of the oil,... the miracle of the civil war... of OUR civil war. The religious were at war against those who wanted to be one with assimilation and one with "modernization" and with the "fashion" of the time. How hypocritical it is to light the candles of a "xmas" chanukah when the holiday is the complete opposite of xmas. The Maccabeean civil war was the fight against the merging of paganism with the holy; Xmas is about the merging of religion and paganism. How hypocritical it must be to give gifts on Chanuka because children are embarrassed when asked, "What did you get for xmas?" I pray for a miracle... that all Jews find a heart to return to the G-d that gave them the Land, not the first time, THIS time. Every day that Israel exists, it is because of G-d continually renewing His will for us to be alive.

David likened to the sun and moon before God.

The bible tells me in Psalms 89:20-37 a lot that helps me understand how God relates to me. Verses 36 and 37 tells shows me the love of God for me. Verses 30 to 33 brings God so close to me that l would wish Him to help me obey Him or try and emulate the David He so much loved. Happy Chanuka. Thanks Lori for the most important message in my and our lives.

Preparing for the coming Rain

I think of Noah, who was asked to build the Ark and then Noah and his family saw the impossible. Noah did his part that was asked of him. Hanukkah hasn't started yet of tonight, we are making our preparations getting ready for it. The mood shifts back and forth this week before Hanukkah starts, like building the Ark before it started raining. A couple more nights and it's going to be raining and we will be setting ourselves in place to receive the impossible for we will be ready and our Ark (Menorahs) have been built ahead of time to take the ride God has planned for us to take this Hanukkah. We do our part, God will do his! May all that has prepared, enjoy the ride!
