Let's pray for each other
Lori, I have to confess I also have the same problem. I am praying for G-d to help me over come and be more self-controlled. My live has not been an easy one and I have a lot of physical pain daily BUT even that is NO EXCUSE for "Screaming and yelling". Please pray for me sister.

avoiding raising our voices
Raising our voices at people, like people raising their voices at ourselves is really wrong on so many levels. It raises blood pressure on both sides. Plus, it is esp. hard when individuals with autism and austistic spectrum disorder (ASD) are yelled at because their auditory sensories are even more sensitive than a neuro-typical's. I wonder if a reasonable response to a screamer would be to try and calmly tell them, "please don't raise your voice at me." One additional comment. The circumstances of the meeting described by the Rebbitzen do not sound like the instances where a Bet Din would be involved to immediately resolve issues of poor party or meeting planning.

but it would be involved regarding money back.

Yasher Koach to the Rebbitzen. Now, if only some among us could learn from the message here. Yelling and screaming is often, sadly, the way of so many peoples, groups and nations. It shouldn't be the way of the Jewish people.
