I just moved

I just had an article here on aish http://www.aish.com/sp/so/My-Life-with-Aspergers.html?s=feat

I've been working for years to figure out some kind of way that I can make living in Israel work. I found it and am now since I am able to work with people around the world can make more money then I was making just recently in the states. If I didn't have this desire to move to Israel than I could have just settled with a job where I didn't have to have a skill.

Although I am not declaring Aliya now, and I am just testing the waters I'm still going to work hard to make this work!

where else can u feel Shabbat and yom tov in the air?
where else can u smell Shabbat in your entire bldg?
where else can u see children dressed for Shabbat and their fathers walking home from shul in talitot shmoozing w/friends and anticipating the cholent? yes, we had a war and yes, our grndsn was in Aza an american boy who made aliya at 14 and went to the army to serve his country and B"H came home w/o any injuries
No one says its easy but is it worth it? From the depth of my heart i can say YES! Please come home there is a place for everyone here

A question for Lori Palatnik

Do you feel like a guest in the United States because you were raised in Toronto? I grew up in the metro NY area around a lot of Jewish people. Perhaps that has made me spoiled? I don't know. However, I recently started learning Hebrew. My reading is not what anyone would call fluent, but I'll get there with practice!!
