Marital Problems!!!

I am an American Baal Teshuva for over 30 years who came to Israel and married an Israeli from a religious family a half-year after I became religious and have suffered from the very beginning of my marriage meaning the first month. For reasons of not wanting to embarrass myself because my family warned me not to come to Israel and marry and also not wanting to hurt the children I remained in this marriage very unhappily married. At the time, I was very naïve at the time and the truth was kept from me about her. I have a lot of trouble understanding how this could be my soul mate from G-d. Maybe she was not but due to the fact that I was hasty in getting married, the unfortunate happened.

Never give up. Go to a reliable source for advice and continue praying to Hashem. I know a similar case where everything improved.

Be strong and have faith.

Help / Support is available.

As you have written, please allow me to share my thoughts.

I am really sorry to hear of your long-standing problems and unhappiness.

I do not know if you are better of staying in your current relationship or not, but regardless you must speak this over with a mentor or Rov who can help you cope and or make any necessary changes.

Sounds easy!!

I guess there is a bit of "lech lecha" in "chayai sara".....!!
If its not good....move on!
Easier said than done, albeit a very monumental message!
