what a kiddush hashem!

its so beautiful to see in ALL the comments that everyone is thinking of others, or their children, or sick people, etc. this is why we are called KLAL YISROEL, THE NATION OF ISRAEL. we are all brothers and sisters and we all take care of each other. this is reason enough for moshiach to come very soon.

winning/losing money in the lottery

As it was said in the movie Wall Street: "Once you've had money and lost it, it's worse than never having had it at all."...I feel lucky enough that I have preferred stock that my late grandfather left me in his will/estate where I get (occasional) dividends and redemptions.

Gamblers All - Lottery isn't harmless fun.

Why are lottery winners broke by year 5 of their winning? Because they are gamblers and don't make good choices or they wouldn't be gamblers. - - - - - - - -

Depending on gambling to have a better life is just like the fat lady buying the magic hundred dollar pill so she will be tall and slender for the rest of her life. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I didn't play the lottery this time. What would I have done if I had played and won? We'll never know will we?
