Can it be in Boston?

Getting to New York is difficult for me- Can it be in Boston? I admire your ever present optimism and good cheer.

Lunch on me

Rabbi, I can't compete with your well-heeled supporters, but I'll make the following offer: I'll buy you lunch at the establishment of your choice the next time that you are in Israel. But I have a condition - it has to be in Haifa (where I live) or in Sderot (where I work). What do you say?

Fabulous idea!!!

I don't know about Warren Buffet, but any bid for lunch with Rabbi Salomon is a steal of a deal. Ninety minutes of Rav Salomon's wisdom is priceless. Trust me. I know.

Whoever wins this is one lucky fellow!

another idea: crowdfunding

if many people would donate a small amount there could be a big 'Limmud' with the Rabbi and we could all participate from our computer screens (and maybe have some nice snack at our side (my chevruta and I often have chocolate) and drink (like tea or orange juice)

Waiter, I'll have a main course of Ruchnius served over lightly-baked Gashmius

Rav Noach Weinberg would teach that Hashem wants us to get the real pleasures in life. This sure qualifies!

He also modified Patrick Henry's famous inspirational quote, "Give me freedom or give me death!" into "Clarity or death." I've gotten a whole lot of clarity from these weekly videos and would love a little more... oh, and medium-to-well done, please.

$2150.

Jack
PS You are an "amazing Man".

It's a great idea.
As Rav Noah always told people he walked into Aish Hatorah, "Would you rather be happy or rich. Come to Aish Hatorah and we'll teach you to be happy."
After the fellow from China meets with Warren and gets his money's worth from ideas shared, he should meet with you and you will teach him number 27 of the 48 ways, how to be happy. When he gives aish.com the same amount he gives Warren he'll get his money's worth and aish.com will be in slightly better financial shape.

Rabbi Pliskin.....what would make me happy(er)?

For you , to also provide us viewers of Aish.com with a weekly video of one of your myriad messages on How to be Happy.

Happiness does trump money, albeit living in this dark galut, we do need a lot of shekels to keep our families moving forward.

Yasher Koach to you for always giving us up beat messages that we must live by.
