moods

Hopefully, our moods will be good ones to lift us up in an upward spiral as being happy and in a good mood is certainly a mitzvah to aim higher in life, so it's best not to sweat the small stuff, even though it can be very tempting to get stressed, despite how much not everything is equally important in the grand scheme of things.

( ( ( Hear for a Change ) ) ) Heed the Sound of the Shofar

Perhaps what we remember most of Rosh HaShana is the sounding of the Shofar. We also hear it throughout Elul...What this suggests to me is that we try to pay more attention to what we hear, in general. Are we trying to listen to suggestions for change, day in and day out? Or do we just try to keep going, on and on, without any real change? Are we responding to Shema? Are we listening to good advice and giving good advice, throughout the year? .............From this Yom Teruah onward, let us listen and hear and change...THANKS Lori
