Sukkot
I love this Holiday too, and it's MY favorite. Perhaps my reasons are different. For me it's so much about being alone, in this vast firmament of stars, looking up, to the moon by night and the beauty of my surrounds, outside, by day, and the very marvel of it all, these the fruits of love itself. Creation. I find myself in introspective communication every day of my life, but never more, in the joy of this holiday, because it's for me, about THAT. And yes, the joy of bringing this back, of sharing, is surely part of this, but for me, it's the meditative beauty of being, yes, alone, in the sukka, in waving the etrog high, in pulling down the energy and love, into all that I do, surely LOVE right here, in this space, at this moment. And then, I say, Time stands still.

Sukkot
Sukkot is also my favourite yom tov and not for nothing is it known as 'HeChag, zeman simchateinu, THE holiday, the season of our joy. Here in the Land of Israel where the weather is still warm and dry, it's a pleasure to sit in the sukkah and make the berachot. Thank you for continuing inspiration.

Lori--You brought back memories of when my son was in Hebrew School and I volunteered to help his teacher serve pizza in the Sukkah. What fun that was! :) On a slightly different note, let me say how much I appreciate the close-captioning which was featured in this video. Several of my relatives (z"l) experienced severe hearing losses at a young age, and they would have been very happy to see the close-captioning. My father in particular would be extremely pleased to know that other hearing impaired individuals will be able to follow what you have to say. Chag Sameach!
