containment
The opposite of denial is not attack, as a lot of responses imply. The US adopted a strategy during the Cold War era of containment. Containment of Iran is not attacking and it's not denial. George Kennan, father of containment theory, postulated a way forward that worked and with modification will work against Iran. Attacking Iran will galvanize the Islamic world and will not destroy Iranian nuclear capability. In a sense, Iran should be viewed as already possessing a nuke; Contain them.

Bibi is a true statesman and understands the Iranian threat for Israel and the entire world. President Obama looks like just another politician next to Bibi and he is clearly not pro-Israel, as the past threes years have indicated. Unfortunately, the majority of Jews will vote for him again as President and he will likely be reelected. That's why Israel must strike before the presidential election since Israel cannot rely on Obama to strike Iran after the election and it will be too late for Israel to strike and be effective. G-d forbid that Iran ever acquires nuclear weapons and uses them against Israel. But, if that ever happened, I can just hear the Jewish Obama supporters exclaim " Obama did everything that he could '' or '' We didn't think Iran would really act irrationally and really use them''. After three years, I cannot understand how the majority of Jews can vote for Obama. I could not live with myself if Israel was destroyed and by supporting Obama, I contributed to the destruction. My hands will not be dripping with my fellow Jew's blood!!

We all need to wake up
Everything you said was very true and people need to wake up and pay attention to the warnings that have already been given. It is like Nethanyahu said yesterday. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck. Guess what? Its a duck. The Iranians make no bones about their intentions. They want to wipe Israel off the map. Many others have tried and failed. God is on the side of his people. No weapon formed against us will prosper.

THE PAINFUL IS TOO HARD TO TAKE FOR MOST OF US.
We're in denial 'cause our own megalomania won't allow us to think that we're in jeopardy; and the painful is too hard to face for most of us; but, that doesn't mean we shudn't think about contingency plans in the event that the worst will happen. And U're right, Rabbi, we Jews shud' pray and beseech only G_d to protect us; forget the U.S.; forget Canada. They're too far away 2 really care what happens to Israel; and besides, past history showed how G-d looked with askance up b'nai Isroel when we sot earthly help instead of his.

walking on clouds
It's much easier to walk on clouds and pretend that every thing is going to continue on the way it is in our every day lives, school, work, our homes and families. Activities that make us happy. That make us feel safe and warm and normal. We don't want to step out of our comfort zones and actually think that such evil is lurking again in our world. It's. Much easier to pretend that life will go on as it it. But the truth is the evil IS there and sticking our heads in the sand won't make it go away. God loves his people, and will listen when we call and that is the greatest preemptive strike I know of! Read Habakkuk 1:5 and claim Gods power and protection over Israel and innocent people the world over. He will show us Great and Mighty miracles. May God bless and guard us all.
