hey, lori, your video blog reminded me of Theodore herzl, who is called the visionary of modern Zionism--his motto was, 'if you will it, it is no dream". I've had the zechut (privilege) of living in Israel because of his, and others, visions and dreams. when one person realized his dreams, sometimes, it's not only about him/her. s/he sweeps along others in the current, and the world changes. thank you

What's your dream, Lori?
Hi Lori:Great topic! So what's your dream currently? One of mine came true when we made aliya. Now I'm looking to volunteer for a great group who wants me too.

87-year-old first time novelist
Sometimes it seems as though we won't have a chance to realize our dreams, and for a man, it might definitely feel that way. Women might understand this better as we might be experiencing our lives in a non-linear path because of the demands of child-rearing. However, we can see by people like Joseph Zaitchik who was a first-time novelist at 87, that we can realize our dreams. http://thephoenix.com/boston/arts/130019-first-time-novelist-at-87-umass-professor-josep/

Dreaming of EASY Learning with Buttons...?
Dear Lori, thanks so such. My father referred to me as a DREAMER and I took it the wrong way! Perhaps the trick is to share our dreams, as you mention. You know my dream of using EASY buttons( from Staples). I gave you one on Dec.11, 2011. I hope you still have it. It might help you in your work. I am hoping it can motivate students to learn more, in easy steps.I hope some day, you will show your EASY button in a video. THANKS. Harry www.SavingSchools.org

This message is uplifting, as it should be. Dreams are, unfortunately, just ...dreams. Sure, for a lucky few, dreams can be pursued first and foremost. But for the majority, life seems to get in the way. It's funny how having that mortgage bill and the tuition bill and car payment bill and the utility bill always seems to put that dream on hold. And then we convince ourselves that once the mortgage is paid off, or the kids graduate, we'll pursue our dream. By the time this happens, often, life has passed us by. It would be helpful if we made our dreams something more concrete, like dreaming that one day, you'll see your kid graduate college, or seeing a beautiful grandchild born, or having enough money to retire comfortably to pursue those dreams you had to put on hold while you worked to save enough to retire on.

There is no such thing as luck...
I like to call mazal "the hand that G-d deals out to you. It is not a scrambled chance. Once realizing this, we can see that we create our own "luck" and G-d, who is out to help you and teach you, deals what He deals to help you learn how to make your dream come true. I am not a millionaire, movie star or famous guy. But I can say that I have done some of the most fantastic thing and been to some of the most unimaginal pla in my life. I am grateful for everything that HaShem and provided me and could not have asked for more. He always seems to give anyway and answers things in ways I totally did not expect.

It is only too late...
...when your six feet under. Put off retiring for when you die. Instead, dream a dream; then, work it. LIVE life WHILE your living. ; )
