It is ashame that he is the exception!!!
He is so in tune with what Hashem wants & expects of him....he is so lucky that he has that clarity!! So many of us just miss the boat & accumulate & accumulate...for what....like Mr. Feuerstein said "to buy a new suit or to eat more!!!!!" I hope I learn from this great tzadik!!! Thank you once again Aish......

And to think, that there is such huge ant-semitism......,Yes, we, Jews are taught to help, save lives. Even, the poor will do and give what they can. L'CHAIM.

Media Focus
I wish the media would focus on people like this instead of Bernie Madoff. Perhaps then the Jews would be thought of in a positive light.

more menches
most of us are not - & will probably never be - in the position, nor have the power to do a similar act of such great mench magnitude in its direct effect on so many people [employees etc.] But the truth is the real "mench test" is there in all of our lives everyday. the mench things that we do [or dont do]that others dont even know about, i.e. the selfless acts to others, without any promise of payment, or even recognition in return. Its the many [seemingly] SMALL mench actions that eventually produce the BIG mench.

A real Jew
He is the kind of Jew Hashem had in mind, when He took the Jewish people at the foot of Mount Sinai for His Chosen ones!

A True Hero!
In an age where true heros seem to be lacking and everywhere you look it seems people are out for themselves, this man defines what it means to be a hero, and indeed, he is everything that a menstch is and more. And the fact that he credits Judaism and Torah values for inspiring him and guiding him in his actions has given me more love and respect towards my faith and pride in being Jewish. Thank you for sharing this incredible story

Kiddish HaShem
You are an inspiration in a world so desperate for inspiration. The saddest commentary is that you are a hero for doing the RIGHT thing..nebach!

a mensh??
Enjoyed the opening analogy and the content of this video, can easily be used as a simple answer to a complex question, as to what comprises a "mensh"

You have been 'mekadesh shem shamayim b'rabim'
What greater accolade can a person earn than yours? You have honored and hallowed God's name for all to see!

Beautiful
It's wonderful that people like this exist in the world. It's an immense Kiddush Hashem and I hope the next time an opportunity like this comes by me I can do the same.

Kiddush Hashem
This man is a walking Kiddush Hashem! I'm proud do be among his nation!

A Malach, not a Mensch
This Torah Jew is a tzaddik (righteous person) who went :"beyond the letter of the law" in actualizing what he understands the will of the Almighty to be. I am jealous of his lofty accomplishments and hope some little spark will rub off on me.
(20) Iris Moskovitz , June 9, 2009
Wow! This man is truly selfless.
As many other people have said-What a Kiddush Hashem. May Hashem watch over this remarkable human being bis 120.
