awesome!

What a wonderful young man, and his mother should be proud she raised a hero!

what a mom!

I am struck by the selflessness of Virgil's mom. After getting her kids to safety, knowing what was going on downstairs (flooded streets at 2am, water still rising, the electricity down, and did someone mention alligators??), she had the strength to let her son go out into danger because he could help others. I don't know that I would have the strength to do that. No surprise that she raised such a son! I hope to hear Virgil Johnson's name in the future.

What the world needs!

The world needs more people like Virgil! What a good person he is and what great parents he must have to have nurtured his innate goodness.
May the One Above always bless him and his achievements.

So proud for you!

I've heard it said that the reward for doing a kindness- a mitzvah- is the chance to do it again. May you have a long and happy life, Virgil, so that you can spread your courage and kindness even farther.
