Imagine waking to an announcement that you are now living in a 'Shariah Zone.'

by JanSuzanne Krasner

Imagine one morning waking up, walking out your door, and seeing bright yellow posters plastered on the walls and telephone poles throughout your neighborhood that announce that you are now living in a 'Shariah Controlled Zone.' That is what is actually happening in several boroughs of London and other communities in the UK... and this could realistically happen in US cities within the next few years if we do not take legal precautions against 'Shariah Law' in our states.

Some may think that I am an alarmist. After all, how can one believe that we Americans are as vulnerable as those Brits? That can't happen in the US. Well, the residents living in neighborhoods like Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets and Newham, all boroughs of London with large Muslim populations, didn't think so either.

This is more than a call or a march for 'Sharia Law' that has happened in recent months. This is a clear attempt to impose 'Shariah Law' on the residents of these communities by members of a Muslim organization called 'Muslims Against the Crusades.' These British citizens woke up one morning in late July to find those bright yellow posters plastered on their streets alerting everyone that they are entering, or already living in, a 'Shariah Controlled Zone'; a 'sinless city' where drinking, gambling, prostitution, drugs, playing loud music or having concerts is no longer permitted. To make matters more intimidating the non-Muslim residents had better watch out for this group's band of vigilantes that are ready to enforce the 'Shariah Laws.'

The riots in London and surrounding areas are overshadowing this story. However, it is these very riots that are symptomatic of the level of civil discontent, lack of individual responsibility, thuggery and disrespect for others that does exist today in some of Britain's social and economic class-warfare society. The extremes of wealth and poverty, the high levels of unemployment and continued uncertainty, along with the undisciplined nature of many of the rioters is making the UK, along with other European countries, very vulnerable to Islamic intervention.

According to Anjem Choudary, the fast-talking spokesman for 'Muslims Against the Crusades,' "Shariah Law is unstoppable in Europe." He claims that the British society is "broken, riddled with drugs, crime and prostitution" and believes that the British people are ready to "welcome Sharia Law." His plan is to flood cities in the UK with these 'Shariah is a Better Society' flyers and "put the seeds down for an Islamic Emirate in the long term."

Can this really be happening? Watch this video below and come to your own conclusions. Listen to Choudary. Then listen to some of the British reactions to this intimidation. This Muslim group is planning to take their tactics to other European cities in France, Italy and Brussels where the Muslim population has increased to large proportions.

After 9/11 Americans became much more aware of the danger of radical Islam and the Jihad against western societies. It has been courageous Americans, in the face of enormous public and political condemnation, who have been fighting for almost a decade against the political correctness of our social and political dialogue as they try to expose the dangers of the anti-democratic ideology of the Koran. They have recently been taking the brunt of politically correct finger-pointing as liberal leaning main stream media attempts to crucify them as the inspiration for Norway's mass murderer Anders Breivik.

Videos like the one linked here are necessary for the American public to see. Shariah Law has already entered various places of American life: finance, business and the courts. Greater demands are sure to follow. We are not much different than our British friends.

Is this alarmist or a genuine concern? Let us know what you think in the comment section below.

Laws in free countries are a product of the majority

If there are individuals who wish to further an alternative system and promote it to the people in a community, it should not be condemned but put to the test to determine it's effectiveness. Shariah laws are applied in many successful economies and are actually a catalyst for fast sustainable growth. It is up to people to familiarize and educate themselves on Shariah law(without seeking knowledge from misleading authors) and put aside the "911" fallacy as an excuse to avoid trying to know it's truth. Throwing more debt ceilings at the problems of western societies is only applying a band aid on a terminal problem. The people will then become inclined to accepting any rule laid down by the usurers(money lenders) who, as we are witnessing, are promoting every anti religious law on societies.

The reaction of the British Authorities and local Muslims.

This article could be a lot more balanced and informative if it included, for example, the following points:- Waltham Forest Council has removed the posters and is currently reviewing CCTV footage to identify those responsible for displaying the posters. The news comes as a Bill in the House of Lords seeks to stop Sharia law taking root as a parallel legal system. The Arbitration and Mediation Services (Equality) Bill, introduced by Baroness Cox, would make it a crime for Sharia courts to falsely claim legal jurisdiction. Local residents have distanced themselves from the calls for Sharia law in Waltham Forest. Abdul Rehman, a 56-year-old Muslim originally from Pakistan, said: “They should go to a Muslim country if they want to live under those laws. It has no place in Britain.” Redzz, a 24-year-old musician, said: “It’s a tiny minority of Muslims who want laws like this. People are entitled to their own views but shouldn’t try to tell other people how to live.” And 29-year-old insurance worker Sal said: “This is Britain and everyone should live by Britain’s laws.”

Shariah Law in America? Could it really come to this?

I suppose they could come here and cause so much trouble that some communities might welcome it, as did some Brits. But do you really think our law enforcement agencies would allow more gangs? Especially those that would become violent trying to impose their "law", over our freedoms for which we fought so hard? I am just an average American, I have no voice and my vote doesn't ever matter, so what defense would my family have. If I use a weapon to defend my disabled children, it is not self defense and is illegal. I would go to jail. I suppose that in light of that similarity, some might give in to gangs to receive protection. Are the muslim (not deserving of capitalization), extremists that much more different or more powerful than any other gang? How can it be prevented? Maybe by monitoring entry into all of our borders. That'll never happen, our politicians are too cowardly. I think we could start by never allowing full burka clothing, and by insisting that all ID photo's be taken without any head wear at all. Any would be terrorist can hide under a burka along with weaponry. Not that anyone would ever read this opinion, because as an average, poor, American; I still have no voice. However, I do have the freedom to discuss it openly, anywhere in my country, the United States of America. Though we are united and a melting pot of varied races and cultures, we should still find a way to disallow anyone from trying to impose their violent actions upon our citizens, an no one should ever be allowed to take our freedom of speech. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to tend to my barbecue... roasted quran (also not worthy of capitalization.
