If I win the lottery.....

and Hashem grants me the gift of another year of life, I would like to use it to mother my little girl. She needs me and I can't think of anything that would be more important. Please!

Very good points, Rabbi

I really enjoy your video blog, Rabbi. You make some very good points, and this being my first real year of celebrating the Feasts, I do stop and ask myself serious questions during this 40 day Season of Repentance. I believe that HaShem gives us all a chance and that He shows us where we need to work on ourselves. I find it amazing that this year seemed to go by so fast, and I can't wait until the next Torah cycle! Anita

I already won the Lottery

Hi, I love your commentary for today. I honestly know I have already won the lottery, because I have love, and I have had so many beautiful sunsets already. In terms of "the money", in case I win ever a large paper amount, I have a long list called my Tzedakah list on my computer, and that's where the bulk of it goes and I would just love to disperse this money to the many charities I adore. I am thinking how many of us have already won the lottery, because we have another day, another opportunity to celebrate each other and kiss the earth beneath our feet. Thank you!

If I Win Money

If I win a large sum of money, I would be able to move my cats and I out of Singapore to Israel and open an English school. I would also put some saving for my retirement but I would also be free to donate to significant causes. G-d Bless Clodya

Once again, another winner of a thought provoking video.

I always enjoy watching the profound message you have to offer us. Having good health , to be able to do the will of Hakodesh Boruch Hu, is truly being a millionaire. The wonderful spouse, loving children and grandchildren are all brochos that people take for granted, unfortunately. People are so consumed with asking Hashem for the material things, which will not help us come closer to Him. We need to get down to reality, and daven for what really matters in this world. Those that have the good life need to realize that it is given to them by Hashem, and if they lose focus on that, and feel it was attained by him/herself , Hashem can take it away just as quickly. Having millions one day and barely enough to get by day to day is happening more rapidly than we care to admit these days. ..

live within your means!

When winning a lot of money by the lottery, the answer to how to go about to invest in it can be pretty simple - just save as much as you can upon your retirement, and only spend the money on necessities, along with setting up a budget in order to determine what you need and what you want, and if it is something that you want, you must be sure you know how much importance it will bring to your life...All in all, whether for richer or poorer, always balance and audit your checkbook regularly!
