this is what I am doing

My wife isn't well enough to prepare a home seder so we join Rav Yedid at the hesder yeshiva seder open to all.No one should be alone this night so I have been visiting singles and the lonely and encouraging them to join us at a super evening filled with tradition-good food-and great joy

What Should Precede Every Single Holiday

Imbuing the children(or any family members) with a genuine excitement for Pesach, complimenting good teamwork, insisting on respectful family interactions, great "cleaning" music CDs, ensuring everyone gets something new for Yom Tov, and asking Hashem to help us make Pesach everything it should be " from Erev to Isru!"

What does Obama have to do with Pesach?

We are doing for Pesach what we have been doing for decades. Spend it with our children and grandchildren, just like our parents did before us. But what does Obama, L'Havdil, have to do with all this? Frankly, I think all he cared about was his re-epection, and now his legacy. I think his question is, what is good for Obama? Not what is good for America, and certainly not what is good for the Jews. Let's not kid ourselves.
Have a Kosher and Zisen Pesach.

Passover is for everyone. This is not the Spirit of Passover when we become so negative about other human beings. We all need to exam our inner soul and see whether or not we are enslaved by opinions that are offensive to others!

FOOD FOR HOPE,,,,,,, for this world

Prayers.. for over thousand years... and still waiting....
Where is world peace? When will the Arabs cease a goal of wiping Israel off the map?
When will the gap between the rich and poor close a ittle more... It is up to the rich.. yes?
Slums and poor souls need help.. a lot more help if we call ourselves CIVILIZED !!

I'm cleaning (what else!)

As the homemaker, I'm cleaning and planning meals; I will soon be shopping and cooking. In fact, one of the difficulties I have with this holiday is that by the time we're done preparing, we have little energy left to really appreciate the first days and the Seders.

Passover Preperations

I am doing what my mother did and her mother did before her. I am cleaning my kitchen, but all the while I am reciting my gratitude; Heavenly Father brought all this together, my home, my family the Law I live by. All the things I need came from Him for me. this is a time to remember the family who will never again celebrate this glorious time.

Pesach aisle....here I come...again!!

I am preparing by making sure I have enough pancake mix for my kids.....it's all about the kids!!
