It is all about communication. If your spouse feels more inclined to check his/her email than to have a real conversation with you, then there is a problem.

In every marriage

In every marriage there are behaviors that are off limits. Tell your spouse get off the phone. Put it away. Absolutely no phone or TV in the bedroom, in the bathroom, in the car, or at the dinner table. You can't compete for attention if he or she prefers tech over you.. For the past 30 years TV, Sports, Work, and hobbies like golf and garden clubs used to get spouses away from each other, now phones are the most convenient method of distancing. Text your spouse and tell them exactly that.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Just don't know what to do about it! Glad to hear i am not the only one with a spouse addicted...
