We need to know the details....

....to make our best efforts to keep it from happening to US as individuals.

I feel so sad. I don't know what to do. I'm praying so much, crying and saying tehillim. I just feel sooooo guilty doing regular, mundane activities as I', thinking about these boys, my brothers, and their families, and the 1000's of young soldiers (also my brothers) who are going into dangerous areas. They're so young and must be so scared, I feel so bad and wish I could do more! God, please accept everyone's tears, look at the achdus, unity, generated from this incomprehensible act, and please Hashem, fulfill the bracha of Matir Assurim, and bring them back alive speedily to us achshav!!

Ari Ben Yisrael, June 17, 2014 3:00 PM

Thank you Dina

If that really is your name and not as I suspect our learned Rav trying to make amends for not mentioning our brave Israeli soldiers searching for the boys in his opening Shpiel. THANKYOU too for trying to speak IVRIT. Your "Achshav" (now) was spot-on but I hasten to correct your 'unity'.....that's "achdut"
Keep at it girl.......All the best......Ari

Christians are praying also!

Our entire Bible study class committed in prayer this morning for the safety for these boys, peace for their parents, and for those searching, and that G-d would receive great Glory. . From Texas.....

If you praying, at least include our Israeli soldiers searching for them.

Rav Yankele. Not even one word of mention from you, for our brave IDF soldiers endangering their own lives searching for these kids who are usually encouraged by their learned, sic, Rabbonim not to enlist, and who placed themselves at risk by being where they shouldn't be, and at night on top of it all.

M Hillson, June 22, 2014 8:16 AM

Ari: For your information, the yeshiva where the boys learn is a Hesder Yeshiva - a yeshiva that combines learning with army service. And if you are really interested in both the boys' and the soldiers' welfare, you could tone down your hatred and join the rest of Am Israel in unity instead of divisiveness,

Hello Rabbi--As I lit my Shabbos candles this past Shabbat, I prayed for their safe return. For several weeks I have been learning Hebrew with my wonderful partner in torah. In the merit of these 3 young men, I will practice my Hebrew more diligently so that I will one day be able to read like an old pro. For now, my davening will have to be in English. Please bring them home to their families safely and in good health.

the missing boys

I will pray so hard for the downfall of these low lives that have commited this most horrendous act. I will also pray for the mothers who are suffering the pain and and fir the authorities to find these poor souls. Most of all I will pray for the boys to have the strenght to fall back on their own prayer to g-d to help them.
bless.

Amen. Such good encouraging words.

There is so little we can do......there is so much we can do. No we can't go door to door looking for our boys but as Rabbi Salomon says we can pray with our full hearts to bring our boys home safely. May there families find strength during this horrific time..

(4) Dr. Alfred Pecora, June 15, 2014 2:31 PM

Our Christian community will pray for these boys.

Our entire Church and peoples within support your efforts; we will keep these boys in our prayers also for a safe return home. May the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob hear and bless our combined prayers.

It is human nature to " runner neck" & want to know all the details!!

Let's talk to our Maker & plead & beg with him to return " our boys!"
And yes let's look into ourselves & see how we can improve ourselves even just a bit! We all have some area that needs improvement !!
If not now, when?

Lisa, June 15, 2014 4:50 PM
