Yes and no

Rabbi, as tragic as the disappearance of flight 370 was, I am once again disgusted at the "media's" single focus on this tragedy. Every time there is a disaster of one kind of another, the news people act as though it is the one and only story of import. The fact that even the mudslide in Washington State has been relegated to a secondary place of importance in the so-called reporting that goes on and on and on an nauseam over the one bone the media dogs fight over.
I have to turn to the Internet to get the news of the world. We Americans are so focused on whatever the media sees fit to feed to us that we don't even know about important things that are going on around the world.
Does Israel still exist? Is anything happening in Europe that might interest us? No, of course, not, the only thing of importance is the flight that is missing.
Of COURSE we do not know everything, I hope none of needed this missing aircraft to bring that to our senses? I, for one, have never thought that I knew everything, I never have.
This I do know, the concentration on ONE story to the exclusion of all others for weeks on end is not responsible.

This is something else that isn't being said...what about some of the passengers cell phones and laptops..when Flight 93 was hijacked, some of the families got calls from their family members on board letting them know something was amiss.

you didn't go deep enough

everything Rabbi Salomon said is 100% true, but he should have ended with "WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS HASH-M WHO CONTROLS EVERYTHING".

We Know Nothing

We're told we are secure, especially NYC since 9/11. A 16 year old kid just last week, entered and climbed the New World Trade center tower up to the antenna, with no help at all. If that part of NYC in USA isn't secure, no where is secure.- - - - - - A jumbo jet disappeared without a trace and no one even knows what it's path was? After 4 hours in airspace..... no satellite, no GPS, no other aircraft sighting it ? Maybe it disappeared from only those it wanted to disappear from. Just because we can't seem to locate it doesn't mean it isn't there. Does it? Not only do we not know it all, we actually know nothing about who is in power.. How did that aircraft disappear? Perhaps with careful planning.

Bell-like message

Thank you for your clear, bell-like message. If ever we needed a voice like this it is now.

dissappearance of flight

An excellant video- Thank you. In my spirit, I believe this could be a "Dress Rehersal" for an event, even more shocking, to come. No one know what the future will bring. Only G-D knows, Maranatha

May be this has happened

Eye opening commentary by Rabbi Salomon-Thank you.
Around 24 years ago, I had to fly on someone else's passport to escape death/suffering and to seek asylum in what is my adopted mother nation. While I was traveling, I was petrified because of being found out and put in jail where your rights are not respected. When I looked at the CCTV images of those 2 Iranians on the missing plane, I see no evidence of panic and strangely they are calm and normal even though the passports they were traveling had been stolen. I am wondering if those two worked for an intelligence agency and hijacked the plane for some unknown plans or purposes?????????????????

The Greeks had a word for it

"The Greeks had a word for it", is an expression that is sometimes used to make us feel that ancient civilizations were able to face problems similar to ones that plague modern civilizations. But in this case they are right. When we think we know the answers to everything we are exhibiting that famous flaw: "hubris".

A lesson from GD....He is in charge!!

Your so right....we don't know it all. Like it says in Perkai Avot....we start something....we try & try because that is our obligation, albeit we cannot always finish the job. Here too....we are all trying to know what did happen....yes, we must know we have limitations. Lets all pray for good news.
