turn point

Dear Rabbi We all hit a point in our lives that makes change. Who we are is not more than the conglomeration of actions and past experiences that (hopefully) helps us to growth in a different way. For many moths now, I have been trying and promising myself that I will say minja and Arvit. Today and after listening to your video I will do it. Thank you for helping me to continue this incredible journey of jewshiness, thank you for never give up on us. You are truly a great leader and a fantastic mentor. May the almighty give you and all the members of AISH loads of health and strength to carry on the fantastic work you are all doing. Thank you Alejandro

do not speak the language

It is not really possible to do what you suggest in your talk because most of us do not understand hebrew so we can't really show feelng in the recitation of set prayers written in hebrew.

from the heart

I think often about the word prays, because its aural equivalent is praise. Now I am not sure we need to have everything we pray for answered but I do know that God is hungry for connectivity and that connectivity and love can be expressed through life in myriad ways. I believe that love and that passion and reverence for creation that IS love, is a reflection we can all participate in, because what is truly of moment, yes, is how we express ourselves and the truth within cannot lie.
