Tech rules for kids: terrific

I will send this to all my kids for their children's sake. I am hopeful that they will implement these very important ideas,
May the Almighty help us here. We are faced with many challenges because of technology today. Keep teaching us!

A fourth rule

Minimum age (10). We have minimum ages for driving, minimum ages for responsibiblity (adulthood), and minimum ages for drinking. etc. Why not minimum ages for such gagets? And in my opinion, these minimum ages should be legalized into law.

filter needed

These were great, but I think the number 1 rule for kids whose cell phones have internet access, as most do today, is to instal a filter.

the good old 80's

I miss the good old 1980's when I grew up.Without all the tech people actually took the time to interact with others instead of their gadgets. Well I guess I've got to adapt wish me luck!

the 3 tech rules are impressive... great....valuable. I think that 'access' is imperative, 'curfew' is important so it doesn't turn into an obsession but I am wondering what would you say to a child who complained that #3 - 'location' deprives them of the 'space' and the 'privacy' they need or are 'entitled to'.
