Be selective about the people with whom you consult

Hello Rabbi--I just got finished watching and listening to you for the second time. Unfortunately in my life I have been exposed to individuals offering me very BAD advice. Therefore, I have become quite picky about whose counsel I seek. You mentioned one should seek out a wise person when asking for an opinion on an important matter. I always do that. Re: The people who offer me unsolicited and too often bad advice? I nod my head and thank them for their concern.

"Respect eveyone, but trust only Hashem, (G-D)" -from the Torah,

"Respect eveyone, but trust only Hashem, (G-D)" -from the Torah, so seek advice then pray to Hashem to find out the correct path.

Why don't we ask?

Ask a hundred different people, get a hundred different answers. I'm reminded of an old Chinese proverb. I believe the question should be, "Have you prayed about it?" Why not ask God? If you have faith, you'll receive a response. Isn't He the best advisor one can have?

Get a fresh perspective!!

It's always good to bounce our decisions off others !! As we all know: 2 heads are better than one!!
Thanks for the message!

Another reason for rating kosher

I like your video about keeping kosher. I have another reason, which i believe is more direct and to the point. For all Jews that believe that the Torah is G-d's commands to the Jewish people, that itself is the reason they eat Kosher. G-d said so. People don't need to to know G-ds reasons.
