Watching these films open up my eyes, though, making me realize how blind I am, as well as so many others. So many of us take our talents for granted, or don't even realize what potential lies within us. What's sad about this film is how some of us need such people in order for us to realize how special we are. Such people should make us all thank Hashem for ginving us all that we take for granted. If these people can do it, why can't we? The next time I feel like saying "I can't" or "I'm not special", I will remember Patrick, and say "I can." Patrick and his father are my true heroes.

...what a precious and blessed family. Indeed an incredible role model for all of us.

Thank you
Patrick's father is the hero of the story. He does not view anything that he does as a sacrifice and that is why his son has turned out the way he is. What incredibly beautiful souls. Thank you for sharing this aish.com!
