This video is certainly better than nothing but I must ask why wasn't calling 911 part of her speech. She says to go to a counselor if he is threatened , what if this counselor is a molester? Kids are programmed to believe anyone of authority. granted that calling 911 isn't always the right thing in every case but the kid should know that he/she always has that option and it should be drilled into them.

a new problem
A new problem I have never encountered before that I read about this year is that adults and institutions are getting so over the top scared about lawsuits and being anti-drug that they refuse to allow a child to put on sunscreen, or mosquito repellant without a parents' written instructions or doctor's orders. This is pretty hard on fair skinned children. Some places don't allow hats either in case it is interpreted as gang affiliation. In fact it is burns that a child experiences as a child that is blamed for skin cancer later in life. I suggest that you inquire first and give all the documentation that a child needs. This extends to an aspirin for a headache or Midol for a girl
