Science-based environmentalism, not sky is falling "green" activism
What is remarkable about the Israeli success in improving the environment has been the focus on using technology and rational thought to solve problems. Sadly, in Europe and America, environmentalism has been hijacked by sky-is-falling liberalism who self-hate, push for a lower birthrate, and make environmentalism into a intrusive, elitist cause. Israel has achieved much without succumbing to the hysteria of the "green" groups.

environmental awarness
When I lived in Israel in the early 80's, the pollution was terrible around Haifa and Beer Sheva. The chemicals in little streams was so strong that the water looked and smelled only like those chemicals. My husband said that the country was too young to worry about the environment. I am so happy to read about Israel's transformation with their environment!. I am so proud of them...I love Israel, even though I no longer live there.

Thank G-d I was born jewish.
The way jews have excelled as a nation and as a people has been trully amazing. What makes it even more amazing is that the Jewish people through G-d have been able to accomplish all that they have even though they have been hated by the world in general. Thank G-d for all that we have been given.
