Yishar Kochachem, all of you who made this film possible.
A huge heartfelt "THANK YOU" to all of the participants for sharing your most precious stories. They are all outstanding testimonies of your inner strengths and a tremendous reinforcement of the belief which many of us perhaps take for granted. You made superhuman efforts to survive spiritually. May Hashem bless you and all generations after you, to continue to grow spiritually and join together with all the rest of us to greet Moshiach very soon. It is for your sakes that I often look forward to the great day when YOU will see the awesome final heavenly judgement to be given to the Resho'im as they disappear forever. Thank you JRoots and thank you Aish Hatorah from a grateful younger person who has Boruch Hashem never had to suffer what these people went through. I live with the hope and prayer that no evil should ever befall any of us ever again.

The Jewish people
What evil entered the Jewish lives and souls, no one only god knows the pain and horror that they were put through, man out them into the pits of the deepest burning hell, they tried to wipe out all traces of judaism, they failed, the jewish people rose once agian from the burning ashes of evil, they stand proud of there Jewish state, and I a Jew myself, will never let any one take that away from us, Israel belongs to the Jewish people

Warning
NEVER EVER for one minute fall into the trap that this can never ever happen again! Even in this day and age of the 21st Centuary I have had and am still fighting anti semitism. I am waiting for a Criminal Court Case to occur and I am a victim and witness in this case. This is a case against an Arab Muslim Postmaster in Blackpool

Words cannot express the emotion, respect and admiration for these survivors, my husband being a survivor of Auschwitz. This presentation is a magnificent example of the Jewish neshuma. Our eldest son and wife have become Orthodox with three observant sons, 3,6 and 7 years old. We are very proud. Thank you for your dedication.

Am Yisroel Chai
This film is amazing. The strength of the beautiful Jewish people is a kiddush HaShem ~ how moved I am by their testimony and by their strength to go on after the Shoah and build new lives. No one but those brave souls know just what it is to continue living after seeing what they saw and feeling what they felt. It is true - who is like Am Yisroel, G-d's precious children?

Very Proud
Excellent film - we watched this here in Melbourne at the Yeshivah Centre on Tisha Baav. One of the speakers used to live here in Australia her sisters and other family members still live here in Australia. They are from Bratislava (Pressburg) Czecholslovakia now Slovakia. As a child my Dad ad 120! also a Holocaust survivor used to take their push bike for a 'spin' around the streets of the Jewish area Judengasse near Ulica Paalisaade I think. The need to keep our wonderful tradition going so that those terrible Nazis/Germans and collaborators who tried to annihilate us are not awarded a victory is so important. By remaining steadfast Jews we beat Hitler, Goebels, Tiso the Slovak puppet and Brunner Eihmann's deputy who expelled the Jews of Slovakia and all the other and many evil doers!

This horrific event must be retold, just as we retell the Exodus
I will never forget when we watched Shindler's list. when the movie ended, my father (alav ha'shalom) who was a holocaust survivor, looked at us and said, "what you saw is picnic compared to what really happened." I am making sure, (for quiet a while now) that my two sons become factually well educated about the holocaust, with emphasis that in time, they too must pass the story of this dark event to their children. Just as Jews are commanded never to forget what Amalek did to them on the journey out of Egypt.

Blessing to the survivors
I watched the documentary with my daughter. It was such a moving film. All the testimonies of the survivors are so deeply sad. All the experiences that they went through. It was so beautiful to see that most of the survivors have big families full of life. It is a way to honor all the ones who didn't made it. Thanks Jroot!

What a wonderful project this is! Being a child of Holocaust survivors I know how important it is for future generations to see these wonderful holy people give testimony to what they went through yet still kept their faith. I only wish my father a'h could have partaken and been invterviewed as well.
(46) Shirley Nagel, August 10, 2011 12:43 AM
I watched this film on tisha ba’av and it just strengthened my belief that throughout Jewish history we had many tests and very sad things happen but the emunah and courage and faith have helped us survive. Watching and listening to the survivors gives me chizuk and helps me cope with my own personal trials. Thank you for sharing your stories. They are an inspiration to me to try to do more acts of chesed because that is what makes us human beings.

(44) Reuven, August 9, 2011 11:27 PM
abundantly neccesary
After seeing this unbelievable recount of what atrocities have befallen our peopl. the one thing that stuck out the most throughout this film, is that regardless of how horrible things might be, we all need to have faith in Hashem. because at the end of the day, after the years and years of persecution. The Jews still have the greatest impact on the entire world, as much as they try and take us away from it.

This short video show that the people who survived are happy for the new generation of survivers when it should be the oposest. We as children cant and prob will never begin to understand what they went through. We had one story of a little 8 year old and we all shook we went crazy, how can this happen we all said, and these survivers went through this daily for a few years. they are all specail people. may Hashem continue to bless them and may they live 120 years and continue to shep nachos from thier children and grandchildren etc........

Thank you for producing this
Beautiful, inspiring, necessary Thank you so much to the survivors for going through painful memories to tell us...thank you to the producers.... The strength of Jewish faith that was passed down to these survivors we only know about from them..Today we are entrenched in other values other than our Judaism, our faith is diluted whilst theirs is so pure and strong .

Lost 41 Years
fter i watched this film, it reinforced everything that is so important to be born a Jew. I moved away from my Jewish roots, & did not enter a Synagogue for 41 years. Seeing this film makes me so proud to be born a Jew. Hitler, might have attemped to destroy our race, but he could not destroy our faith , & belief in Hashem i

Poignant
Extremely moving documentary. I felt deep in my heart the pain of these holocaust survivors, and the moment they questioned their faith and traditions. But after all the horror they endured, their jewish soul, this flame burning deep down in every single one of us, got reignited even from the despair of this inimaginable period of history. Bless them all, and especially all these survivors that live in Eretz Israel without any family and barely enough money to live a decent life.
(22) Lauren Posner, August 9, 2011 3:27 PM
Growing up I was ashamed of being Jewish, and at the age of 27 I went on a trip with Aish UK to Poland with a survivor going back for the first time. I didnt really want to go because it was a 'Jewish' trip and to meet 'Jewish People' I thought if I dont like the people its ok its only 4 days and i will be learning about my heritage.... walking through the concerntration camps, 60 of us from all different Jewish backgrounds where they tried to kill 6 million Jews and here we were with 'Bobby' Eva Neuman a survivor (featured in the video) and 2 generations of her family, I knew what it was to be PROUD of being Jewish. TG 5 years on I am a religeous Jew leading a Torah life. Thank you Bobby and Thank You JRoots for an amazing inspiring Tisha B' Av.

Today being Tisha B'Av to see this film is very appropriate. A very touching movie.I felt extremely proud that the people who survived and continued their lives against all odds are MY PEOPLE Yes, we should never forget the terrible beastliness that can befall human beings. We should check and educate our children in the schools that this type of horror should not happen. May Hashem Bless the survivers with good health ,and ,muchYIDDISHE Nachass from their families.

Thank you for this project
Thank you for this film. Thank you for undertaking this project, and thank you to the survivors who were willing to share what must be difficult beyond anything we can even imagine. I lost family in the Holocost and it is very difficult watching this, but the inspiring words of those amazing people who survived teach us a lot.

This was a powerful documentary. This era in history can't go down without being recorded. I obviously can't comprehend what all the survivorsvwent through, but I'm so happy I watched this to realize how lucky we are and how thankful we should be with e/t we have b"h, especially those of us who are still zocheh to have grandparents who are survivors. Go cherish your moments with them now and hear their stories.

Amazing but so sad
As a child of holocaust survivors, i am in awe of their strength and willingness to share! The pain is unbereable the memories haunting, yet my parents gave us amost wonderful childhood, with strong values and invaluable lessons in emunah that light our ways through the labyrinth of life. May Hashem never test this generation, for we might G-D forbid not make it!
