Ignighting dreams...

This 100 second film did more to make a refocus on the new year than anything has in some time. Our world is stealing our dreams, livelihood, careers, sapping our lives from us when I know instinctively G-d is not the stealer of anything. He is the Giver of Life. The past few years have been crushing indeed with many deep losses and scars remain, but even Job did not see his own destruction after years of the worst of suffering. G-d is the eternal balancer of living and life...when the pendulum swings to the horror it must be counteracted with the good, or He is not who we know Him to be.

Saying that G-D does not grant life to those who truly yearn for it is an extremely harsh and strong statement. You really need to think before you make a comment. We cannot understand, predict or begin to contemplate how G-D chooses to run the world. Imagine a movie playing-if you walk in at the middle of the movie...you wont have the faintest idea of what is going on...right? So to with this world. We came into this world in the middle-can we really debate and claim such statements when we, ourselves, are uncertain about so many things? G-D does what He does because the end result will benefit us more than we will ever know. He LOVES us, we are His precious children! That person that may have passed away...I cant say anything-but, if it was a relative of yours-Baruch Dayan Emes.

Life can only be lived one moment at a time

Sherri, you are right but one way to look at this video is that life can only be lived one moment at a time. Each one of us can only be assured of the moment we are living in and the video is saying that it is up to us how we live our lives in that moment. What do you choose to do with that moment. This is a harmful video

While it is beautifully presented, the idea that G-d grants life to those who truly yearn for it is absolutely false. Many have been buried this year and for all time...."before their time" begging for life. We don't understand God's ways, but putting it this way, can make an unbeliever out of a believer if they are taking this literally and seeing what happens every day in our world.

Words cant do this video justice. It's breathtaking, empowering and inspirational all at once. Most importantly, it's completely and 100% accurate...HASHEM yearns for a connection. We just have to take the first few steps...and He will help us achieve our goal...and live our dream.

Inspiring

This is exactly what I needed to hear and see now. We need to remember to dream and to believe. I am going to set myself some new goals before the end of the week as my life is starting anew this Rosh Hashah. Thank you for reminding that it is good to start afresh!

sometimes, u may feel like despairing. "ive already done so much bad! i tried and failed. im lost. theres nothing i can do" but Hashem in his kindness is always ready to forgive and let us start anew if only were willing to try! dare to dream and become the person you want to be!
