THE "TRUE" JOY OF ISRAEL,SEEN BY AN ALIYA FAMILY
This is so enlightening, real, beautiful, and makes clear how when you get down to the core, it is the same kind of life we all would like. A country we love, a people we love, and experiences we all would love. We know about the politics, we know about the hardships, and war, which is partly why this was so wonderful. This is a view of Israel from an Ima's point of view. A real, loving "Mommy," shows us their family life. We see the entire family from their planning, packing, and actually, pushing off, to the "promised land." From their traveling through their travailing, to cooking, to culture shock, to the bliss they are experiencing.Jamie, nothing is perfect, thank you for showing what you all went through emotionally, to mishaps with appliances, all the way to trying to shop, read, and pay bills, in an unfamiliar language. You did a valiant job of giving us an honest view, of what your family encountered.You have a more privileged life than many others, due to your professions. You did not hide this, which made it authentic.It would be nice to see some other neighborhoods, and apartments, with families, singles, and seniors, and what their experiences are.You are wonderful, please keep up the good work.You have a demeanor which makes me feel like family.
