Many roads lead to ... . I was about to go haywire on this then I read Ruth's comments and although I diagree with determinism at any level she arguments well. I sustain the major element, "love" as the strongest force on earth given to man. Choice is conditioned to love. Any decision outside of this realm be it of arbitration, negociation or war stem from an evil or egotistic source.

With Passover I learnt more about my blessed right for Freedom. God created us free. On Passover I celebrate Freedom amid my non-free big Arab[ic] environment. In my inner soul I welcome and celebrate my rights: To be Free.

the determinism of free will
IF you were experiencing massive synchronicity or the astonishments of connects through story, you would have another "take on free will". In fact, many theologicans from all disciplines and certainly science is questioning how much of development is programmed and how much, truly about free choice.
I heard an Orthodox rabbi expound on how God knows everything we're going to do, and surely the existence of astounding coincidences makes one question the role of God in each of our stories, and how we do connect together.
In fact, on line at Aish there are myriad examples of such beautiful miraculous stories, and the authors call it God's miracle and God's actions and so do the participants who are making comments.
Yes, we need to choose all these beautiful ways of being as in this lovely movie. We have that choice because within our lives there is an inbuilt learning curve, call it signs, all over the road, that tell us or move us towards these truths.
I do deeply perceive that within a deterministic universe, namely God's PLAN, as articulated everywhere on line at Aish, there is an ability we all have, that's divine, to make choices that further our climb up that ladder that's about merger. Why? Well to realize ultimately that God's story for us all is about love, is to "freely" at another level of consciousness, relinquish one's free will, knowing that God alone has crafted a beautiful loving story that incorporates every one of us, and that no blade of grass, is unaccounted for within that divine story.
