great
I am going through the Chumash with a learning partner first time. Like you i just want to know who is who, and a bit of a time line even though the Chumash does not put a heavy emphasis on accurate dating. I was wondering how i should approach the Chumash my next time around. Your clip tells me that there are many levels to go around the second time. Thank you.

SIMCHAS torah
Beautifully said, life is like a down escalator and we have to keep climbing or else inevitably we will fall.. i think the name "simchas torah" sheds even more light on this idea- not only are we just going through the torah again, true we have a new perspective, but even with that we have to be excited by it and have that happiness of starting again! If we open our eyes and be excited to read through it again with a new outlook who knows what we will find... its exciting!

The Jewish Journey Never Ends
Reading Torah is a lifetime read. We can read it by the daily readings at home along with all the Jews around the world reading the same scriptures for the day. Reading Torah, brings the Jewish people together traveling the same path. It is what binds us together as a people.
