Lori in my class
Thought you might like to know that since we now have a smartboard in my classroom, I use Lori's clips as a trigger for thoughtful, meaningful writing in my writing workshop class.

Lori Palatnik is an author and Jewish educator who has appeared on television and radio and has lectured on five continents, illuminating traditional practices and life-styles for our contemporary world. She and her husband, Rabbi Yaakov Palatnik, live in Washington, DC, where she is the Executive Director of The Jewish Women's Renaissance Project of Aish DC.
The story of Jonah is read on Yom Kippur. In a certain sense it is very much the story of Yom Kippur's essence -- return to God. It teaches us about our voyage and ourselves.
