Things seemed to be going well between the two despite the cultural differences. Until one day Dovid rushed to their family lawyer and said, “I vant divorce.” Somewhat surprised the lawyer asked, “Why? Do you have any grounds?”

“Yes,” responded Dovid. “She vants to poison me.”

“Oh my, that is serious,” replied the lawyer. “Do you have any proof?”

“Yes,” replied Dovid. “She buy a bottle at drugstore and put on shelf in bathroom. I can read, and it say: ‘Polish Remover.’”
