Moishe and Mordechai are having a serious chat about married life. "I'm having a lot of trouble with my Sadie," says Moishe.
"So nu? Tell me about it already," asks Mordechai.
"Well I said something absolutely innocently to Sadie last week which somehow upset her. She immediately started shouting at me. And even though I tried hard to get her to explain what it was I said that upset her, all that happened was she went into her shell and I got the silent treatment for the rest of the day. This has now happened quite a few times since then."
Immediately, Mordechai reached for a paper and pencil.
“What are you doing?” asked Moishe.
“Now tell me exactly what you said to get your wife to stop talking – and say it slowly,” said Mordechai. “I need to write this down.”
