Rivkah Epstein was renowned for her charitable work and one day an angel appeared to her and said that God wanted to reward her for her kindness so He was granting her three wishes.

"To be honest," she said, "I have everything I could possibly want in life. What more could I wish for?" Then she thought for a moment and said, "Well, I suppose a new dinner table would be nice. I've had that one for over 35 years."

Within seconds, the angel delivered a new table. "Now what about your second wish?"

"Hmmm," mused Mrs. Epstein. "Well, if you insist, I suppose a new car would be nice for getting me to the shul’s sisterhood meetings."

No sooner had she spoken than a brand new car appeared in the driveway.

"And for your third wish?" asked the angel.

"Well, it’s been so long since my beloved Harold passed away. I think it’s time I have a new companion. Could you possibly turn my loyal and loving dog into a handsome gentleman?"

At that, the dog was transformed into a handsome man. The man cooly strolled over to Rivkah and said, "I’m starving. Where do you keep the Kibbles and Bits?"
