Like most Jewish mothers, Suzy Epstein wanted to see her boy David get married to a nice Jewish girl. In fact, she had taken to setting him up on blind dates with daughters of people she knew.
She had her eye on Sarah Rosenberg for some time and was excited when they finally went out.
“So how was it??” asked Suzy excitedly as David walked in the door a measly two hours after he had left.
“Well, let’s put it this way” David responded, “she has the gift of speech, but unfortunately without the gift of conversation!”
