Two middle-aged Jewish women were riding on the train in New York, discussing how terrible they think it is that in our day and age, there are still Jewish men who wear that long black coat and big black hat, when, all of a sudden, lo and behold, what do they see – two rows in front of them, one of THOSE!

So one of the ladies decides she is going to give him a piece of her mind and marches right up to him. "Excuse me, sir, do you realize that your dress, your failure to adapt to the modern world is causing anti-Semitism?"

He looks up at her sheepishly and says, "I'm really sorry, ma'm, I don't want to cause anti-Semitism, but I'm Amish, and this is the way we have always dressed".

"Oh!" she exclaimed excitedly. "Amish! How quaint! I’m so sorry! Perhaps you could invite us to your village and we could learn the meaning of these old and beautiful customs?"
