Sarah Epstein wanted to meet with her shul’s new young rabbi to discuss some weighty matters that had been on her mind.

“I hope you don’t think I am odd for asking you these questions but I’ve been thinking a lot about death lately and all of the things that happen,” said Sarah.

“Of course,” said the young rabbi. “Please.”

“For example, can I have a service in the shul when I pass away eventually?” Sarah asked.

"Of course," said the young rabbi grabbing his date book. "What day do you want?"
