Rabbi Minkowitz is walking down the street one day when he notices little Moishe Epstein from his congregation trying to press a doorbell on a house across the street. However, the boy is very short and the doorbell is too high for him to reach.
After watching Moishe’s efforts for some time, Rabbi Minkowitz moves closer and calls out, "Can I give you a hand, Moishie?"
Moishe responds "NO!"
Rabbi Minkowitz continues to watch as he crosses the street and walks up behind the little guy. He places his hand on Moishe’s shoulder leans over and gives the doorbell a good ring. Crouching down to the boy's level, Rabbi Minkowitz smiles benevolently and asks, "Is there anything else I can help you with, little man?"
To which little Moishe replies, "Yes Rabbi, run like the wind!"
