Chaim Yankel enlisted in the IDF and wanted to join the famous tzanchanim – the paratroopers. So he went to one of the instructors in charge and asked how you jump out of a plane with a parachute.
“Well one thing you need to know,” said the instructor, “Is that it’s important to start preparing for your landing at around 300 feet.”
"How do you know when you're at 300 feet?" asked Chaim Yankel?
"A good question," replied the instructor. "At 300 feet you can recognize the faces of people on the ground."
Chaim Yankel thought about this for a while before saying, "What happens if there's no one there I know?"
