Rabbi Solomon was an unconventional Rabbi. He made an announcement in shul, “Friends, I’ve decided to expand our misheberach for cholim list – our list that we use to daven for people who are sick. I’ve decided that if anyone here has a personal shortcoming that they really want to fix – we can add that person to the misheberach list as well. So who wants to be added?"

"I do!" yelled out Chaim Yankel in the front row. "I have a spending problem. I throw money around like it is growing on trees!"

"Very well," said Rabbi Solomon. "We will add you to the misheberach list next week. In the meantime, I’d like to talk to you about some sponsorship opportunities for the new sisterhood hall.”
